Nancy Sue Myers Duff, 65, died November 5, 2012 at her home in Plano, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 10, 2012. The service will be held at Singing Oaks Church of Christ, 101 Cardinal Dr., Denton, Texas, with Ross Thomson officiating. Born July 17, 1947 in Anson, Texas, Sue was the daughter of the late Bryant and Lockie Myers. She graduated from Anson High School in 1965. Sue served on the board of Christian Homes of Abilene and was a past member of the Junior League of Abilene. She was a long time member of the Highland Church of Christ in Abilene and later a member of Prestoncrest Church of Christ in Dallas. Sue worked for The Container Store in Plano for the past eleven years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Bobby Joe Myers and Sammy Lynn Myers. Survivors include two daughters and one son, Shawna Hutcherson and husband Brian of Ponder, TX, Laura Wade and husband Kirk of Rockwall, TX, Jason Duff and wife Ashlee of Frisco, TX; Grandchildren, Sam, Jase, Hayes and Max Hutcherson, Grant, Halle, Hudson and Caroline Wade and Knox and Jude Duff; one brother, Dan Myers and wife Tessie of Granbury, TX. She is also survived by nieces Betsy Holloway, Tammy Compton and Jana Spraberry as well as other nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Dallas Christian School, The Gregg Pearson Foundation or the donor’s favorite charity. A reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall.
